The Luberon is a mountainous massif that stretches over a hundred kilometres from west to east between Cavaillon in the Vaucluse and Manosque in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. Its rounded summit, the Mourre Nègre, culminates at an altitude of 1125 metres, its two southern and northern slopes conceal superb perched villages, historic monuments, magnificent natural sites to discover, and a rich gastromic terroir. The Regional Nature Park covers an area of 180,000 hectares and has received international recognition with UNESCO's global "Geopark" label.
