For opening hours for Robion's nativity scene, see the Avignon diocese website: crechesenvaucluse.fr.
The nativity scene in the village of Robion is in Notre-Dame-de-la-Nativité church, almost at the top of the village. This lovely little church of Romanesque origin has a particularly harmonious, light interior.
The display stands near the entrance, with beautiful large clothed santons, some with wax faces, from Avignon's Carmelite convent. They have belonged to the parish for generations. Local volunteers have taken great care with the scenery: Robion resident Jules Zanchi made the fountain, dovecote and windmill.
