In Pujaut, the Saint-Vérédème, Culture et Patrimoine association presents a nativity scene in Saint-Vérédème chapel above the village. It is a chance to admire the magnificent santons of Jean-Marie Fontanille, Pujaut's renowned santon maker. The association's members have arranged the display beautifully.
This lovely Romanesque chapel was built around the year 1000 on the plateau above the village, on the road to Sauveterre. It was falling into ruin a few years ago, but the association has recently restored it. It provides a magnificent setting for the Christmas nativity scene.

In 2013, for the third year, the display opened for only two weekends in December. Check the town council website or call for opening dates.
